So... Uh... I tried using MeroMero's airship tileset, however...

The front BG appears as a garbled mess, and some of the tiles are messed up.
And yes i used the required BGs.
Is is because i edited the Map16 a little to add a tile i felt was missing? (i didn't edit the graphics only the Map16)

EDIT: I re-imported everything, but not much changed:

Shitfuckles, it looks like i chose a tileset slot with randomization, RIP me.

EDIT:

Yyyyup, using tileset slot 21 (Unused bonus room) instead of slot 36 (ugly-ass underground recolor) fixed the tiles, but not the BG.

Try to import everything in slot 42.
As far as I remember, MeroMero used that slot in his hack.

I re-downloaded and re-imported the files, but no, Top BG is still fucked up and the tiles are still affected by randomization (shightly less now, tho)...

About randomization:
Don't import the Airship tileset on slot 3, 35, 36 or 73, and this is because tiles 48 to 53 are also randomized on those 4 slots.
I recommend you to import the tileset into slot 22, the same goes for the FG and the BG (for the last two, you might want to import them into slot 16 as well for safety measures).

Top BG is on slot 22 AND 16, and both are fucked up (and slot 16 has the rocks falling from the sky thingy)
Bottom BG is on slot 36 (replacing the glitchy stalagmite bottom BG) and it works 100% fine

Import the BG over slot 15 or 56, the clouds are animated and I think that's the reason why it doesn't work.

Also be please patient, not everyone has the time and stuff like this occasionally gets forgotten.

*ahem ahem*
MeroMero, the creator of bthe airship BGs and the tileset, specifically said to assign to both backgrounds the same animation ID as the outside volcano BGs (more specifically, the ones that spawn raining rocks)
The airsip BGs are also supposed to look like those volcano backgrounds, except without the volcanos, just the red clouds.
So no, the animation can't be it.

May I please have an explanation for Progress Paths and Checkpoints? I don't exactly know how to use them. When I place a progress path, the Mario(or Luigi) icon either stays at the end or beginning of the path and flashes. As for checkpoints...I can't make them work no matter what I try. Mario always starts at the beginning of the stage even after I change the entrance value(forgot what the actual name was)

Place the progress path (make sure it's a PROGRESS path, not a regular path) below the starting entrance, then take note of the Path ID. Now select your view, and set the view's Progress Path ID to the one you noted. Now select the path (it should have only 1 node), and 2 "+" icons appear beside it. The left one places a new node behind the selected node, and the right one places one in front. Click the right one and place the new node right under the left tile of the flagpole's base. If your level has multiple views, then place the new node below the door/pipe/whatever and repeat the process for the new view.

For checkpoints, put an entrance (type doesn't matter) where you want Mario to spawn after hitting midpoint, then take note of the Entrance ID, and put that on the level settings, where it says "Midway Point Entrance" or something like that.
