No. You can't edit NMTs with some whatever software. They aren't plain images, not even close.

.nmt files are only for importing back into a tileset slot using NSMBe.

To import the graphics into a image editor, you have to go into NSMBe's tileset editor, open a tileset, go to graphics, and export the image. You can later reimport the image you edited.

You can fix it by reloading the plants again in the actor spawner code, but that's a very hacky solution.

Epic fail on my part, i was modifying the desert tileset but the image i imported was the wrong size so now it's all screwed up... Can i have a freshly exported image of the vanilla desert tileset? (both palettes)

EDIT: Solved, all that was screwed up was palette 2, since i removed the palm tree from the tileset i no longer need palette 2

That's an exaggeration. You're not automatically dumb for not understanding or being unable to complete the procedure to insert ASM hacks, even less so would it be a reason for a ban. You're a normal human being, so don't worry about that bit.

And yes, I don't know how to solve this. I've tried several times to no avail. And the worst part is that this doesn't only happen to me with the actor spawner.

Believe me, I searched for a solution like a frenetic, but I couldn't find anything.  skawo's solution in your thread didn't seem to work, sadly.

It will be helpful in answering some of my other questions, like the Tileset Animations Hack.

However, the specific feature of MarioMaster's Actor/Sprite Spawner involves other aspects such as the use of special version of the editor and the analysis of various types of sprites/particles.
