if you use desmume's built in recorder the slowdowns won't show in the video not matter how laggy it is when you record.

This Romhack is pretty hard, i like the minecart levels. but then there is the thundercloud level that annoyed the hell out of me, but still nice hack.

Skawo, I played Newer DS, and IT WAS AWESOME. I havn't %100 it because all I have is desmume, and it lags like crazy on the best settings. I will try to get it on the DS though. I have %100 Newer Wii though! Anyway I just want to say great job!

Found my solution. I took Newer DS and desmume, and put it on my windows vista. IT RUNS TO GOOD ON HERE XD
Anyway, now I am on my way to %100. I got all the starcoins and exits in worlds 1-6. On world 7 now

Pass the checkpoint, remain as small Mario, go into the pipe, wait till the snake blocks are gone, head left, you can find a 3UP and a red pipe.

I'm dumb and english is hard. I meant 8-7 the whole time. You'll see what I mean. Thing is you gotta wait a long time for the snake block and takes a lot of frames, was wondering if a shorter route was possible.

Quite dissapointed with my run, didn't bother to check if Mario was faster than Luigi. Aw well. I'll have to run it again tomorrow as mario. Maybe. Feeling unmotivated now lol, waste of 2 days.

I know what he's talking about. In NSMBe, I can't find it either. He's talking about the level "Slitherhorn Grotto" And in the 2nd area with the star, he can't find it in the Editor. Niether can I. Where is the 2nd part of the level if it isn't in that level?

8-7 Area 2 is in 8-5 Area 2.

Do you still plan releasing those NSMBes? They would be very useful for hacking Newer as a base ROM!

This is the newest NSMBe used for Newer DS

Not that it has that many changes btw. Beside the actor spawner thing there is the rotation controller stuff which you can find in the same menu.

There were some changes to the asm patcher as well but these were replaced by an entirely custom tool later.

Also some changes to the file saving code which happily made files clash.
