So, I could get it to work, as well as  pinet, using this tutorial by  Luluca. I didn't know that the template had to be inside of the devkitARM folder, and maybe other things.

okay so i ran into a problem, i exported a tileset,changed the tiles, and imported it back in

when i went to change tile behaviors, i found this... does anyone know whats going on

You gotta reset and redraw map16.
Tilesets don't magically go over other ones the magority of the time so you have to do it yourself.

Its pretty easy, so I'm not going to bother explaining it.

I am about to punch my screen. On The Actor Spawner, I followed Luluca's Guide and it works but when I try to run the rom on DeSuMe it crashes

The original jyotyu pipes are rendered on a different layer than the rest of the tilesets.
So... how do i make that work for CUSTOM pipes?

You just copy-pasted those tiles from a sprite sheet didn't you. No resizing, moving, anything.

NSMBDS tiles are 8x8, with no gaps.

LOL, i didn't realize you can just open the files with NSMBe

EDIT: I found the pipes texture file, but how do i add new bitmaps and palettes to it? And then after i'm done, how do i link it to my pipe tiles?

Then that means i can't add any NEW pipes... that's what i was trying to do...
Well unless i knew how to add new files and code ASM... but i don't

EDIT: So i could very well try editing the signboards BUT, the signboards NSMBe mod wasn't updated yet, LOL.

What is this about an update to the ASM hack? For fixing the Piranha Plant texture problem?

If you really need to, you can overwrite the pipe joints to get another pipe colour.
