Did you do this:
For Linux and macOS users: you will first need to install the latest Python 3 release for your system, which will allow you to run the .py script. After installing Python, run the following commands in a terminal window to install other required libraries: python3 -m pip install PyQt5 python3 -m pip install xdelta3 After this, you will be able to launch the patch_wizard.py script. (If double-clicking the file doesn't work, run "python3 patch_wizard.py" in a terminal window after navigating to patch_wizard.py's directory.) ? |

I'm here to report on some errors in the game I've found so far.
First off, I've encountered 1 crash being in W3-Ghost House. I was in the section where you step across stringed block to cross the pitfall and the game suddenly crashed. Here's the crash dump... http://fav.me/dbxtect Secondly, after completing W5-Castle; I was send to World 7 instead of World 6. I remember you saying that the world will be accessed in numerical order and the alternative paths for beating castles with Mini Mario will be removed. Plus I should mention that I was Super Mario upon beating W5-Castle, not Mini Mario. http://fav.me/dbxte0z I await your reply

I love this rom hack! Good job newer team PS: I did not have any installation error either to play the game or to open it in the editor

No, I emulate shutting the lid in DraStic, and Mario still shouts "Come back, Mario time!" every second.

Posted by skawo I see. Sadly, I can't really debug it from that, as all that tells me is that it ran out of RAM, but not what it was trying to allocate. So... hard bug to fix, unfortunately, but I'll look into it. I saw your "developer walkthrough" on YouTube, and you stated that the clapping sound after getting all three star coins would take up a chunk of RAM. Maybe you could delete the sound effect and the code to free up some space... An additional point to "Come back, Mario time": When the player is Luigi, it is still "Come back, Mario time" every second when you close the lid of the NDS. _________________________ Check out these awesome hacks! New Super Mario Bros.: Clone Tag Team 1+2 / New Super Mario Advance + Take 2 / Super Mario: Endless Earth My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. |
