I have a suggestion for the newer team website.
When I enter newerteam.com, the browser redirects the page to http://newerteam.com/wii/, which is the homepage of Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii. People may not find out the page http://newerteam.com/ds/. I suggest you add a page that requests people to select one page between Wii and DS, and stop the browser from redirecting newerteam.com to newerteam.com/wii/.

The game crashed.
I was using an emulator on an Android device: DraStic.
I finished World 2-Airship and proceeded to World 3. I saved the game both on the emulator and in the game and then quit back to the title screen to look at the design. Then this pops up.

I apologize deeply because I had lost the password to my Google account. I could not send an email to newerds@newerteam.com.

Edit:
I restarted the game afterwards. It works totally fine with the World 3 title screen.

Edit 2:
I loaded the save slot on the emulator, and then entered a level (World 3-1). I died deliberately, attempted to go to the title screen without saving in the game. Then the same message appeared.

I see. Sadly, I can't really debug it from that, as all that tells me is that it ran out of RAM, but not what it was trying to allocate. So... hard bug to fix, unfortunately, but I'll look into it.

Oh my God. World 2-4 may be the best thing I've ever seen. Was that whole thing coded from scratch? Or was there a minecart level in the original game I don't remember?

I have to congratulate Newer Team on a job well done, not only did the match the quality of Nintendo and NewerWii they surpassed it in every way possible!
Only once in a few years does a hack of this magnitude come along so this is something truly special.

Also shoutouts to whoever got the file size to be smaller than the original game.

In the original rom almost 35% of the data is padded out. If you'd trim it the original rom would be arround 21 KB while NewerDS is arround 27 KB
