You can use the UniPatcher App on your android device, if you want to play on drastic.

For some weird reason whenever i start up 1-1 on RetroArch, it just freezes. Im pretty use i am using the correct US rom for this, so what might be the problem?

Does it freeze on the player select screen? If it freezes there, it's an emulator issue. I would recommend using desmume to play the hack. No$GBA would be better if your computer isn't that powerful

Im using RetroArch's Desmume core, so its essentially the same thing. It freezes when I try to start up the level, after I select the level. Weirdly enough, the same problem is in Endless Earth, but not Newer DS. Maybe its just RetroArch.

Then it's the emulator's settings. I don't remember which one so you might need to fool around with it a little

It might be the rom or an older version of the patch What was the base rom again?

It is very epic! For a long time I waited for someone to just make a Wii one and a Wii U came out, haha. Anyway, I hope he continues to advance a lot, I like how the levels are represented, although the power-ups are missed.

Well, I got good news for you about the powerups thing. A friend of mine personally asked me if he could do something to make my hack better. I thought he was bluffing at first until he showed me some work he did on a personal rom he had and MAN. This guy can code stuff. I asked him if he could make the acorn suit and he said he'll try. There might be an actual acorn suit on the way.

making mario glide isn't a big deal, but figuring out the animations is a more painful process. I'd advise you don't expect him to come back to you with a completed product you can just insert into your hack.

With the recently released NNS Blender plugins I don't believe animations would be too difficult if you took the time to learn.

Don't worry my hopes still aren't that high but it'd be awesome if he could pull it off. Anything beats the stupid blue shell at this point

there's already code to make the blue shell less stupid (by making you press down to get into it). in fact, there's code to turn it into a (bad but functional) flying powerup.

Got an update! Things are going smoothly. Things are getting done to the hack. 2 levels left to go, and I got good ideas for them.
I’m really hoping by the end of the year. Not trying to rush, but I started this over 2 years ago and I wanna get it done lol. Thank you all for your patience. I promise this hack will be really good and worth the wait.
