I wouldn't really say that Newer Wii had a story, more of a simple plot device.

Stories have an extensive sequence of events, character development, core themes and often are intended to evoke emotion from an audience. "Save the Princess", with a blank slate of an avatar, is hardly what I call a story.

I guess, but a quick save would make it a bit harder, and since you've put off the release date by a bit, I don't think this would take SO much time. Anyways, just consider it.
