Maybe rip more stuff, if we can.

Hum. I will stop hex editing Mega-Mario for now, because looking at him becoming crazy is annoying.

By the way, I asked something to the current Projects Organisers some time ago.

You can upload files via the board's uploader here. You can also click on "Uploader" at the navigation bar.

So, going by the Japanese on the left picture that says 'nokonoko mario', was the Blue Shell called 'Koopa Troopa Mario' originally?

From looking at the screenshot from my perspective, the question mark at the end seems to be indicating that the screenshot could had been edited by a Japanese review company. So the person who edited the screenshot asks "is mario a Koopa Troopa?"
Because i don't think that Nintendo asks "is mario a Koopa Troopa?" when they implemented it ingame.

Edit: So i don't think that they call him like that because it was a question.

This project seems to be quite amazing piece of work, and also I'm very happy that you guys did use some of the my restored beta graphics.

To get my help started, I have done these desert tiles in a month ago, but never released to the public. So I'll go and submit these tiles.

this tileset is better than my desert tileset, even if the rocks are missing.

I made the background of this picture:

Cool tileset. But wait... I think there are two beta tilesets of desert.
I have seen the tileset GamePixel has placed here in a screenshot, but I have also seen another one.
Here's a link: http://mfgg.net/index.php?act=resdb&param=03&c=1&id=29121.

Which tileset do we have to use in the Beta Replica?
One of these two? Or both?

I think we should use both, but use the older desert tileset in water levels. Since the older desert tileset looks suitable for underwater levels. And we could try mixing with rock/coral tileset with sand tileset.

Hmm... that could work.

I've another image found with beta stuff. http://mfgg.net/index.php?act=resdb&param=03&c=1&id=25483

Maybe someone can rip the backgrounds from these screenshots:

as i said 2 times, i don't think it's a good idea to mix elements from different betas, like these blocks, and it's better to use the block from the E3 because the other one doesn't works like we can see in the 2004 beta video

<- Very early
<- Early
<- Kinda late

We are remaking mostly the middle one. But also some of the others. But not too much.

I will try to un-mix all the versions to get it right.

(I will clarify this later)

The fireballs are stored in a 2D file.

Image: /obj/I_fireball_ncg.bin
Pallet: /obj/I_enemy_ncl.bin (or I_enemy_B_ncl.bin, I_enemy_R_ncl.bin, I_enemy_W_ncl.bin)

And the music is in the view settings.

thanks for the fireball, but for the music i know where it is, i asking how to do to put NO music, i tried the "none" but it's a speed version of Grassland (alt)
EDIT: finally, not important... i made a recreation of the 2004 alpha footage, is that good? (no sound)
