I was wondering if I could get some tips on how to make grass. I already attempted twice on making some and they didn't turn out to my liking.

The main problem I had with it was I didn't really think they fit with NSMBDS's style and the edges would be tricky to make. However, after a bit of tinkering, I ended up with this. Any suggestions?

The best way to think about this is in a 3D space
Where does the lighting come from, shadows, etc It think the last one you made looks pretty good, but personally I would add a bigger transition between the lightest green where the shine is and the rest of the normal color, makes it look less pillow shaded. _________________________ "I strikingly thought you would know how but it clearly seems you have no knowledge of hacking" - MiiU 2017 |

I think it needs more shadow under the grass

Thank you. NSMB's style is a bit awkward for me as there are more colours than I know what to do with, so I figured I'd get some crit and tips to learn how to do it a bit better.
