Nice; but the only thing that seems unpolished is the hitboxes. In most Mario games the hit is registered when Mario reaches the shell part, not the head.

Welp, there goes my idea for a level.

Question: I have noticed that this level is sort of harder than other levels, or at least I could considerate it so. Would you say that the levels' difficulty increases throughout the game? Or are difficulties random? Or is the game easy/medium overall?

I don't know how you do it skawo, but your ideas and level design go together just so well. Most of my level ideas come from videos or screenshots like this, but I don't go ahead and make it, because I can't imagine the idea anywhere other than how it appears in the screenshot./rant

Anyway, this level looks pretty cool, though contrary to what I said at the start, it feels like there just isn't enough. Sorry if that sounds a bit selfish, but...

Also, you'll move the star coins somewhere else, right?

He does that later in the video. As skawo said, 1-Ups being really easy to get is normal in NSMB games. Though he did say he could customise the points combo/chain thing.

No, I won't. This level also took three days to put together, and two days of fixing the tilted Banzai/Bullet collisions so I'm certainly not adding more. It's longer than some NSMBDS levels -- that's good enough.
