I wonder if the secret project is some sort of "extra content in every level, post-game". Maybe extra collectables/exits, or SM3DL style remixed levels? Or maybe "beat every level as luigi"?

JK. I think it's pretty nice to have some bonus after finishing the game. It somehow adds replay value to me. Sadly, I won't be able to play the hack when it comes out. Can't imagine what those bonuses are, though. Maybe more levels a la NSMBW/NSMBU's world 9? Either way, keep it as a secret and surprise us with the best you've got. |

‘Challenge Mode’ is a mode you unlock by beating Bowser. To activate it, you press L + R + L + R + X + X + Y + Y on the menu screen (the world map doesn't matter, obviously). It basically just makes the player unable to go backwards/downwards in a level without autoscroll, so if you missed something, it's gone forever. You can also get stuck, and then you'd have to exit the level.
Pretty shitty “challenge”, if you ask me. I could not… |

I personally would want it to be harder and somewhat different. Say, as if something else happened to the worlds after Mario beat Bowser. That'd be neat, but we're probably wrong.
