Well... I'm sorry for you but you can't edit european goombas/enemies because they are very well-fortified. And they don't like being edited... but if you still want to try watch out that they don't bite you.

That happens because your snake is longer than your path. Your snake is 10 blocks long but your start path ist only 8 blocks long, that's why this bug happens. Just make sure your path is as long as your snake. Or set your snake from 10 blocks down to 8.

Here it is. The maybe final version of this hack containing the following:
- new soundtracks for tower and toad house
- a more fitting icon for world 5
- updated titlescreen
- easier levels (6-B isn't fireballhell anymore, 5-Tower is shorter than before, etc.)
- level design updates (removed coins leading into deathholes, single misplaced ?-blocks, etc.)
- some other fixes

EDIT: V. 2.5 fixes:
- the invalid rom header
- that you could kill bowser jr. with just one ground pound
- a texture bug

Rule 34 No. 1: Erase the levels before you build a new one. Don't take the orignal levels and just change some things here and there. It seems like you were joking a bit in the Teaser Trailer but you know what I try to say here. I don't know if someone really wants to play the same old levels just with a few changes.

This game is in development for such a long time, it doesn't matter if it takes a little longer.
The most important to me would be that music is playing because I consider it to be one of the most important aspects in Mario games.

Let's see what the others are thinking but I would be fine with both ways as long as the music works. But maybe you can find a solution to fix it.

Okay? The concept is fantastic I love it, I really wish I had the time/motivation to do something like that myself.
Sadly this is made by the Newest team which is equally to Ghost Games in terms of real developer studios. I won't go on all the logical mistakes in terms of astronomy (because logic is out of place in Mario games).

Just looking at the raw hack, I can see very fast that it's basically a ROM hack with good HD graphics taken from the board and completely pixelated backgrounds brought in by yourself (or actually only one own background which is more pixels than background as seen in the trailer).

Also very disappointing to see a completely normal standard castle in that trailer. Feels very out of place.

All in all I still don't trust you guys to actually do something good by yourselves but maybe you can finally show that you are able to do more than just stealing other peoples work and claim it as your own.
