Getting through the Castle was a perilous journey.  P-SwitchPusher got killed by a Thwomp, and  MarioSunshine became confined to a wheelchair when he fell from a great height and broke his legs.

When DUST finally reached Bowser and found  Dirbaio (Who was dressed as a Princess for the occasion), they defeated Bowser easily together, though suddenly the true final boss appeared, a terrible beast named SKJmin, who kept reffering to everyone with penis-related puns.

Luckily,  Dirbaio used his epic admin powers to banish SKJmin to the fiery hell of GBAtemp, and then  MarioFanatic64 hacked some clones into the game and called it "Clone Tag Team 3".

By this time,  Arisotura became annoyed with  MarioFanatic64's lack of originality, so he deleted the thread before  MarioFanatic64 released another glitchy piece of crap.

So  MarioFanatic64 ran off to the Mushroom Kingdom to spend the rest of his life participating in free kart-tourneys and saving princesses for realz.

The problem is we still need someone to say "yes" or "no".

Case in point,
I've asked this several times. For months nobody has had any idea of what is happening about the winning contest levels. They've had no use. We need somebody to actually decide what's going to happen to them.

The reason we haven't had any progress (and no doubt the CR will die again because of this) is because no one knows what to do. It's all "ifs" and "maybes".

I'm not saying that only one person should be responsible for all the decisions, but they can create a better way of handling things.

A snake with no head is just going to thrash around and die.

There'll only ever be one moon at a time, so players will likely not notice.

My point is that Tilesets are used to display a theme, so they are of a major importance to originality. We make new ones to fit a theme NSMB doesn't have (Autumn, Ruins, etc.) or re-use old themes in a new way for more possibilities (Like the HSDB tileset is used for walk-through tiles, larger slopes and the rope-like vines).

But a Goomba is just a Goomba no matter what graphical changes you make. Editing new graphics isn't going to make the Goomba any different, it isn't going to be better, it's essentially worthless (Unless we're changing the style, but we're not in this case).

I think it would be better not to change the Goomba, at least for now. Your work is good, but it's not NSMB style, and I can't imagine it fitting in with the NSMB style. Also like I said before, it just makes the hack look amateurish.

I tried it once, and I had no ideas to use, so I just put those levels into my Space World in Clone Tag Team.

Ok. No disrespect, but you ought to stop bumping old threads about the NSMB Beta. You should only bump a thread if you have new information that is relevant to the topic.

My apologies for being so abrupt, but I don't think I can continue hacking NSMB.

Over the last few weeks I've been overwhelmed with responsibility. University has tough deadlines, I just got my driver's license so everybody wants me to be their taxi, and I recently got a job as a games/movie reviewer.

I can't juggle all this and NSMB Hacking at the same time. So it is with a lot of soul searching that I have decided to stop.

I'm sorry.

But I do have something for you. I really wanted to finish it before I left, but seeing as I couldn't, I might as well release Clone Tag Team 2 in it's unfinished form. I'll keep moderating NSMB Hacks for a while until I think Arceus can do it on his own.
