Release Date confirmed for July 17. Bugfixing has been a long process so far. I've made approximately 60-70 revisions of the finished hack, and played through it 4 or 5 times. There's still another week because I need to prepare a bit more for the release. So it seems that despite my uploading of the Clone Tag Team 2 patch in my PRIVATE uploader folder, 3 people have decided to cheat by guessing the ID number of the file.
I am disappointed and ashamed to those who did download it (except for the one anonymous user kind enough to inform me before it got out of hand). I uploaded the file early to make sure I had it ready to reveal on launch day because I may not have had the time to upload it on the day. The file has been deleted. If any mirrors show up before July 17 I'll know who to turn to. |

Gosh
 I hope that jerk doesn't leak it. I think I'll recommend taking a USB and putting it in there. There are risks in putting files in any type of uploader.

Can't people just wait? Do they want to spoil it for themselves? Maybe the uploader IDs will have to be made more complicated (aka longer).

Why you didn't upload the patch to Dropbox...
 It's more secure than any other uploading system...you can upload any type of file you want and if anyone guess the url(but I doubt it because the url is very long) you get the good ol' 404 error from Dropbox. And no,I'm not advertising Dropbox...  You could had it ready without that any troubled derp would download it before the 17th of July... Posted by hamza62240

One thing. How did they guess it so good that they got the Clone Tag Team 2 patch right out of MarioFanatic64's private files?
Also, in the wiki, "Clone Tag Team 2 will be the first New Super Mario Bros. hack to have each level individually named. ". My hack is also going to have all levels named individually.

I've kinda mentioned this before but not really in detail. It's highly unlikely that I'll ever make Clone Tag Team 3. Highly. And if I did make a third, I've exhausted everything I can do with NSMB so it would have to be for a different Mario game. I might as well reveal it; the 'experiment' I was doing with Super Mario 64 DS was Clone Tag Team 3D. I never meant it to become anything and it hasn't. I don't want to be stuck for the rest of my life making Clone Tag Team 4ever. But that does not mean that the Clone Tag Team series is over. If someone decides the want to continue the series, they have my blessing. I only ask for two things. 1. I write the story. 2. I'm a beta tester. The reason I ask this is because I have thought over Clone Tag Team 3 in my mind for a while and want to make sure that it's in good hands.
