You really should read the Sound&Music Hack tutorial...
The wav's are for better sounds. For example the "Bah" in Grasland music. A midi file could never producce such sounds. So they use wav's to make the music sounds better. Midis are only instrument sounds which are mixed up together to get a song. With the sound from the wavs, its sounds waay better. And it's a known problem that you will get Sound problems when you import a .swar from another game.
You could give me the .sbnk, .sseq and .swar and I can look what I can do. (I'm too lazy to download the rom and export it )

Hey, is it possible to edit credits screen? Those level pictures, because I want to change them to my level screenshots.

Thanks.

It IS possible, you need to edit one of the files with TileMolster.
I have opened them...

Unfortunately I can't remember which ones xD.

I think nothing. Just test it out.

One is used for the title screen, the other for the MvsL menus I think.

What is the palette for this file?

UI_O_1P_course_select_u_ncg.bin

i tried UI_O_1P_course_select_o_ud_ncl.bin but it doesn't work, when i try to open it, i get an error, so i think it's not the correct palette

I'm not sure which palette is correct, but when that error happens when opening a palette file, you need to LZ compress the file first, then open it. Make sure you decompress the file when you are done, though.

Those are used to trace a level or image when editing. Click Set BG to open an image file to preview behind your level. Move BG used to be used to slide the background to where you wanted it, but this has been broken in later revisions. Use Remove BG to remove the image you opened and restore it to a plain gray.

Yeah. It's mostly useful if you want to recreate a level from another game.

Basically, find an image of the level, set it as background, and make the level on top of that. It saves you having to count tiles

Something like this

EDIT: i have another. when i use desmume , and i do click on View Maps, i see the image and the palette that i cant see in the editor. However, i wanna know where is that file stored, is there any way to find it?
it only only give you this information:

The files for the minigames are stored in the NARCs in the Archive folder. NARCs are like zip files, they contain more files in them. Go there, open them, and you'll see more files

The view maps thing in desmume is actually the tilemaps. They're stored in files ending in _nsc.bin, and they aren't viewable in the editor yet. I'm adding support for them, it will be finished soon (?)

Hm, check the entrance settings. There are two options named Camera X and Y, set them to 0.

Also check that there are no empty 16x16 blocks nearby (the grid the editor draws). Empty 16x16 blocks make the camera avoid them.

We don't know the exact sprite data. Try putting something like 00 00 55 55 55 55 and you'll see something.

Does it hard to edit tile screen? I saw a lot of people here edited it nice.

Good night, NSMBHD.
