Probably should've gone in the general chat, but I suppose it works here too. Honestly was a bit surprised it was announced. A lot of people, including me, kinda stopped believing in it. I'm probably gonna buy it, even though it's basically just paying for games I already have.

Nintendo being like: 'Hey, you wanna buy 3 upscaled old games you probably already played for 60$?'

This is honestly a waste of money. First, we got rereleased NSMBU Deluxe, and the worthless remake of Bowser's Inside Story. Now we get rereleases of SM64, Sunshine and Galaxy? They didn't hardly improve the graphics at all. Nintendo is getting really short on video game ideas it seems. The only latest game we got that's NEW is Paper Mario Origami King.

Eh, I think porting Wii U games to the Switch is fine. Gives people who don't have a Wii U a chance to try them. The Wii U wasn't very well received anyway.

to be honest the NSMB series could end right there. they've already went as far as to rerelease nsmbu with the only addition being a powerup. we don't need more of these series, it feels like the game was ported to switch out of pity.

The name is generic, the series has a not super good reputation and they're just all somewhat similar. But I would love a new 2d Mario game with a new visual style, a more original story, and maybe somewhat different controls. |
