I think he might have used an all levels cleared AR code so that it would be easier to test the hack.

So every world has a special name and theme? That's cool. But why are world 1 and 2 normal?

Because every Mario game has World 1 as Grassland and World 2 as Desert. It's the natural order.

That's one of the very rare exceptions, mainly because SMW doesn't have a Desert World. But pretty much every 2D Mario game does it. It's a trope of the series.

Hi! From so much that not post, true?

Exact! The hack changes name, tileset, background, style, and level!

SCREENSHOTS

-World 1-1

-World 1-2

-World 1-3

-World 1-4

-World 1-Castle

You won't very probably have noticed a thing:

Look at the Timer!

Will every level have 100 seconds to be completed (also in the towers and in the castles), will you make her/it to complete all the levels?

Ah, in every level there is an only Star Coin, but it is better perhaps to avoid her, because they will make you waste precious time.

You can start by changing the font-color, 'cause white on white is a pain to read.

That layout is way too bright. If you don't get rid of it, I'm sure an admin will in due time.

Maybe it's only me but I think the magenta on the worldmap ground is too bright and thus:
_kinda hurts the eyes.
_also contrasts too much with the rest of the scenery.

IMO you should make the magenta paler

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

..what is this.

Seriously though, it's pretty nice (also the fences), but not great either. Quite a fiew of the trees are misplaced, too. I assume you reused the world 4's.

Also that.. thing (effect) in your level.. is it supposed to look like leaves? Looks more like pink smoke to me.

I have three types of magenta: (it is better the clearest according to me)

And... Yes... they should be of the petals or leaves.

Of the tilesets thing thinks?

I have only reused the trees! I have remodeled the NSBMD file however.

Your screenshot for level 2-1 made me think about something:
_you can choose which level will have a snowy end-of-level castle as seen in this video:

_open arm9.bin with NSMBeditor
_go to offset 0×1EF0
you should see this string:
00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

For example:
If you want to have a snowy castle in level 2-1, look at the course folder for the corresponding bgdat.bin (In this case all 3 who begin with B01).
Now look at the file ID (for B01_1_bgdat.bin it should be 942, 944 for B01_2_bgdat.bin and 946 for B01_3_bgdat.bin).
Subtract 900 to the file ID (942 here) and then divide the result by 2.
942-900=42
42/2=21

Then divide by 8, the result will give you the byte offset while the remainder (between 0 and 7) will give you the bit number for the byte specified by the result.
21/8=2 with a remainder of 5.

Look at the byte at offset 0×1EF0+2:
00

Use this site to convert from hex to binary, and from binary to hex:
http://www.binaryhexconverter.com/

Bits are read from right to left: 7-6-5-4-3-2-1-0
Since you need to set bit number 5 as 1, you get this: 00100000

If you do the same thing for file 944 and 946:
944
result:2, remainder:6
946
result:2, remainder:7

00100000 should become 11100000

Now convert from binary to hex: 11100000 should be E0 in hex.

Since this is byte number 2, insert E0 at offset 0×1EF0+byte number (in this case 2), which means you have to write E0 at offset 0×1EF2:

00 00 E0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF 07 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

And now if you try level 2-1, the end-of-level castle (whether it is the normal exit or the secret exit) should be snowy.

Anyone who uses my hack ROM as a base can use this trick.

Thanks... But I have not understood anything... However there are easier methods, at least me I know them. (however I have understood the only problem it is the fact of the levels in the folder course number )

Yeah, I know that I'm not a good teacher *shame on me*

I can get why you think that my explanation is… cryptic…
But what exactly didn't you understand? How to convert from hexadecimal to binary?

I have understood up to the number 21. And perhaps better if you leave alone, ASM hack and things of the kind hate me. (any whole exception)

Well... I believe to have discovered a lot of more things on the boring bosses of NSMBDS, above all on the Mega Goomba, and perhaps... I believe to have invented a new boss.

Not waited you for nothing of what from this spoiler!

Unfortunately it is not really perfect...

All the imperfections:
1. When the Goomba transforms him in Mega Goomba employs us an instant, when the Shy Guy transforms him in Mega Shy Guy employs us a lot of time (I believe maximum one minute, but I am not sure of it)
2. This boss cannot be beaten jumping on it (then from beginning to the invincible bosses)
3. When it is beaten it dies in strange way... (it is immovable and it turns him into key)

Perfections
1. This boss can be beaten (if a star is used and you hit it the boss immediately will die and it will release the key, I must try to beat it with the Mega Mushroom)
2. The animations are all right all, except those of the death.
