When Newer is released, will it be an xdelta, nmp, or both. Also, do you have any other NSMB hacks or SMB64DS hacks other than Another Super Mario 3D? Even an MKDS hack? I dunno.

Also, both pics are wearing a jacket, they are the same person confirmed.

Have you removed the minigame mode and Mario vs luigi modes yet? If you can, you could get some extra space to work with.

Space doesn't matter when you don't have to worry about producing 'proper' carts.

The hardware limits it to 4GB, because you can't address more unless you use some kind of bank switching.

That's about it.

Nevertheless, I still have 4MB left of the original NSMBDS cart size, which is 32MB and see nothing that could push me past that treshold.


Well, aside from one thing. But that probably will not happen.

Space we are worried about is RAM. All the custom code together would take over 200KB when thrown in, which is too much, shall we say. So, we've made fake overlays and stuffed space into unused regions of the ARM9 instead to minimize this.

Everything is possible with ASM hacks. But adding powerups is hard work and I doubt anybody will ever do it.

It kinda already is. The cloud assists Mario, and so do power-ups.
