An idea strikes!!

Before the Mega Goomba Boss in World 4 grows big, it is temporarily a small Goomba with a full walking animation, but is a 3D Model. If you rip the graphics of that Goomba through screenshots, you'll be able to make a 3D-looking Goomba.

Maybe, but with a few adjustments it can look better. The graphics won't be all jpeg'd so that's a plus.

im just always helping comjacker that he need so thats the best goomba sprites i could find but im already find the 3ds goomba in my DA so, jack just go to NSMB2 tileset (undone) at DA!

NO$GBA, HyperCam 2, Windows Media Player, MS Paint and Game Maker 8 got me this sheet.



Just import this strip into Game Maker, and also, the animation isn't that good, it needs editing and I've tried

I gotta make sure the animation is perfect so it doesn't look like it isn't having a seizure...

And yes, I turned 3D Lighting off whilst recording full frame of the cutscene when Mario meets the Goomba. Very slow video, but full frame count and perfect size!

Still looks worse than the original Goomba.

Blargh. You should quit trying to half-ass that Goomba. If you really want to change that Goomba, either draw a proper one, or hack the game to use a proper 3D model.

The only unused level you can use via the area overflow bug is the unused world 6 cannon. You can access it by the area overflow bug.


How can you access the unused world 6 cannon? And edit it? The level editor don't show that level.

Yes it does. Go to World 6 in the editor and it will be the last level in that section, named "Canon W6 to W8 (unused)." So just open it and edit it.

That's a matter of opinion if you ask me.

Even if someone does make a working 3D model for a Goomba it'll look basically exactly the same as those graphics above.

You can access it from 1-1 if you put destination area with 128 (or it was 129?)
The game will throw you to the unused cannon level. But there will be no music AFAIK.

Also the new 3d like goomba looks nice, but kinda choppy.

When I recorded it, it was full frame and had no 3D Lighting. My video is better
