Desmume JIT is a huge improvement over old desmume, but no$gba is still MUCH faster.

And even if desmume runs at an acceptable speed in your computer, the speed will go down a lot while you're recording because it has to process the video data.

I tried No$GBA once. I opened a rom and it this message came up onto the screen:
Cannot find save file
So I just use DeSmume.

Well then, you must be doing something wrong. Did you set the save type correctly in the emulator settings?

Also this thread is going way offtopic. This is about NSMB2, nothing else.

Just let me say, Desmume is very slow even when I followed a video of how to play at the fastest speed on YouTube.

Let's go back on-topic.

Well I don't know your computer speed so I don't know how fast Desmume JIT runs while recording a compressed avi.
You could try no$gba C with a screen+sound recorder.

And here is World Star-1 (I made):
http://nsmbhd.net/get.php?id=547
Don't try to make the line curve up like in the real level because the platforms do not follow them properly.

Thanks, but when I import it, it turns out to be the same as the original 5-A!

As far as I know, I do not have the level anymore.

I'm too slow

Six New Screenshots!

Since the Wii Goomba looks and moves exactly like the one in NSMB2, I did this! I hated the DS-style Goomba anyway.

And yes, it looks like ubbish. I need to improve it more by editing it, not redoing it; It took an hour taking this animation from TheRunawayGuys's NSMB Wii Let's Play!

You need to rip it properly and you should use the nsmb2 goomba because it is different to the nsmbwii goomba and uses less colors so will work better.

He can't rip it "Properly" the wii NSMB uses models for goombas (Same with NSMB2). I tried riping them for me and Supr Ds hack and it turned out bad I ended up with no feet and two sprites that where useable ! Mabey you can rip the huge goombas and resize them and it would look better .

The huge Goombas walk differently, so I'll just stay with what I have and edit it later.

OMG SO MUCH STUFF ONE POST IY HAS OVER 9000 INFOS

On topic:
Cool new screen shots. Im guessing You will make NSMB2 Koopas? (It would probably be twice the pain in the ass as Goombas because Koopas are bigger though )

That's two, not six.

Also I'd much prefer the DS-style Goomba. The new one looks blurry. I'd say don't take that trouble, just keep the DS goombas.

Hint: you'll need to copypaste the link in your browser's URL bar because that dumb site calls following a link 'hotlinking'.

Still doesn't look as good as the DS goomba.

Don't try to resize something larger to 16x16, it'll inevitably look like shit. If you really want something other than the DS goomba, you should draw it yourself.
