As you might have noticed, I decided to stop using rips because I think it looks nicer that way and because originality. The only reason I didn't change Jyotyu tileset and the Goomba yet is because I'm lazy .

There's not much I can do, sadly, as putting something there could make people believe there's some sort of secret and thus loosing a live. I'll try to get the camera higher but I can't guarentee it'll work.

Vertical scrolling is already allowed tho. Also, you should look at my edit above.

I felt like I needed to give an update because it's been a few months since the last one, so here it is, even tho there's no good news: Super Mario Star Collect is on hold for an undetermined period of time and possibly for ever because of lack of motivation.

Super Mario 64 used bombs in the first level, so I can't see anything wrong with it. Might just be me though... Anyway, the hack looks OK so far.

Looks absolutely great so far! I loved SM64's star collecting mechanic, so seeing this in 2D is wonderful. Keep it up!

So I guess it's time for the yearly update, or something.

I changed 1-1 quite a bit.
Again.
Also imported new enemy graphics, with a new palette and all. Attempts to do so with the jyotyu tileset have been unsuccessful. I think the editor doesn't like importing 8pbb and 4pbb graphics at the same time, might be due to me using meromero's 380 build, since I heard that he changed some stuff with how that was handled, so I'll test with the latest official build too. If that doesn't work, I'll have to settle with using the original palette. Also, been working on an attempt to do a custom worldmap for World 1 with custom paths and all.

Credits to newluigidev for the cool ASM hax.

So, red coin missions. Cool stuff. Yes, I'm aware the level is extremely flat and that backtracking sucks. I just haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. And, that timer is for all of you with OCD out there.
