I don't think it is easy to contact Nintendo employees and I'm pretty sure Nintendo has strict policies on leaking and stuff like that. But maybe if you had enough money...

You can contribute any way you want to. But they must be of be high quality. Level remakes must be block for block exact and no mixing of different game prototype versions.

You might want to contribute to http://tcrf.net/User:Hiccup/Prerelease:New_Super_Mario_Bros.. It is a page on prerelease materials of NSMB.

You might wanna add this to the wiki:

Oops, I accidentally modified what was supposed to be my unmodified USA ROM. I've uploaded the patch proper now. It should actually work with your normal USA ROM this time.

 Hiccup, you might want to take a look at this:

You should put the yellow outline where the red one was (the red circle in the image) so it turns into a coin when the ! switch is pressed. This was explained by Thierry before, I'll see if I find his post again.

How much ASM is involved in this hack? Because there are a lot of things to restore (tilesets, more enemies having 3D models, useless rainbow/red ring, Mega Mushroom's old model, cap physics, Pipe cannons making Mario able to ram-kill enemies, Swinging mushroom platform's old texture, co-op mode, enemies being able to absorb powerups [see old trailer vids of Goomba turning into Mega Goomba by absorbing a mega mushroom], 3 powerups on the bottom screen, pipe cannons that you have to enter twice or they don't work, MARIO'S SM64 ABILITIES, slow turning animation, smoother walking animation, no BAHPs, beta flagpoles, oh and yes, Mega Goomba not being a boss.)

There is indeed a bunch of ASM and non-ASM stuff needed. Remember the current project is the 2005 demo version, as it has the most footage. So not stuff from before or after that build.
