Description:

New Super Mario Bros. The Next Adventure acts as an extension to the original New Super Mario bros. however with improved graphics and retextured elements. Not only are there aesthetical changes but all changes to the code ranging from quality of life additions to changes to some aspects of gameplay.

-The entrance ID is the number that you use to go to the pipe
-the destination area is the area the pipes in
-the destination entrance is what you set for the entrance ID of where you want to go
-connected pipe ID is only for if you want the screen to scroll with Mario (if your changing areas just keep it as 0)
-the view should be set to the view the pipe is located in

Just a real quick question would you say it’s bad level design to have a level not related with its spot on the map? e.g. having an underground course on a level node that’s not above a hole on the world map.

Update:
Since the original demo has been up for 2 years and this project showed no signs of progressing for a while, I figured I'd release the 2nd world for the meantime until the full hack is complete. This update contains world 2 as previously said but also some improvements to the look of the world map with textures that have more detailed designs then the plain colours for previous versions, improvements to the world map icons using more colours and better shading. as well as few level tweaks to world 1 to improve the gameplay.

Update:

This hack is finally complete, I've tested it serval times on an emulator and most of the game on real hardware however, there is a chance i may have missed some stuff, if you do find any bugs please let me know so I can try fixing it. Also if your willing to share any feedback on the level design that's all greatly appreciated and I'll try to go back and make any changes to improve the overall experience, Thanks
