Ehm. Sharks, I think skawo was being actually being constructive. There is nothing wrong with being a bit stubborn about some thing (and I'm not saying skawo was being stubborn at all). This isn't a "teenager thing" at all.

Try using a homebrew loader, or a different OS (if available). It worked on my Acekard2i using AKAIO, if that helps.
Also, try a non-HC SD card.

The answer to all "is it possible?" questions is "yes with ASM", unless you want your DS to teleport or something.

Speaking of the zoom, too bad there aren't enough tileset slots to make zoom friendly versions (although I think there is a hack to increase number of them). Maybe it would just be easier to hack the zoom, to make it better on the eyes.

Add support for BG_ncg graphics not usable in level, to the BG/tileset editors. As in ones that can't be chosen in the level settings, but do exist (like animated tiles, ones used for cutscenes).

Indeed. It is probably easier to modify an existing actor, rather than creating a new one. Saves space too.

I think Arctus means that "second powerup" Mario reverts to small Mario when hit.

So, just to confirm. In the retail: flags 1-8 persist across areas? I wonder if they persist with the "nonexistent area ID" overflow bug.
