Here is a level I made because I was bored. It's for 1-1, area 1. It uses the default grassland tileset. Thoughts? I might end up making more little levels like this.

Looks great! Only thing I'd suggest is adding coins to that room with the big ''300th level'' text.

That was how I originally intended to display the text, but it would be a real easy way to spam 1-ups.

How?
I mean, just add a trail of coins don't make it out of coins.

Not a level per say, but I thought it would be nice to showcase some cool things Bowser Jr. can do.
Everyone is free to borrow the idea.

Also if "Impossible to stomp on" is enabled, Bowser Jr. will try to flee during the 3rd phase ; if he manages to do so, you will have to throw yourself into a pit and lose a life.

Oh, really cool!
You should add that to the spriteDB, it could be useful.

Sounds like a cool idea. I would imagine that could be used in-game. Say you get half-way through the battle, he runs away, you have to leave the Boss Room, go through more of the Tower and find him again.

I don't think it's possible though, because that behavior is supposed to be a glitch, not the rule.

But something like that should be feasible with other means, for example:

Hey, using glitches is allowed in hacking.

But if it, like, make the game crash, I agrees with you there.

Also  tumblegamer, now you made the first level, you should make the rest of the World 1 so you can release your hack.

Never in my post did I imply that a glitch can't be used on the sole basis of being… a glitch.

Just so you know, I'm one to advocate clever uses of bugs.

Read carefully the post of  MarioFanatic64, and then read my post, and you'll see that my sentence pretty much implies that the glitch shouldn't be used because it's annoying.
Annoying in the sense that, while it doesn't crash the game, it has a real possibility of preventing further progression until/unless you're lucky thus has the potential to frustrate the player and ruining game experience.

Plus never in my post did I say MF64 couldn't use the glitch, merely told him that I thought what he was asking for shouldn't be possible within the realm of the game, that all there is to it.

Unless you just put another Bowser Jr. after the one that 'left' to make as if he ran away to another room to rest and so you have to hit him three times once more.

Also yeah, just did reread.

Those "new" features for Bowser Jr. are very interesting in my opinion. I'm pretty sure that I will use them.

Yep, they are. I used a unused sprite data recently (a little before  SaturnYoshi posted his level and  MeroMero shared stuff about Bowser Jr.) and the result was good enough.

Give it a try.

Those "new" features

You should call them 'newer discovered sprite data' or something.

Here's my one level-hack. "Hack For TAS"

In this level, you must use TAS to complete it. Limit control and limit time. Also need MiniMario to use walljump.

Also, I've TASed it and upload to YouTube. You can watch it and play it with TAS then.

File Download.
In .zip, there are normal version and fast version. .dsm is fast version's movie. Used 0.9.10. Advanced Bus-Level Timing is OFF and Dynamic Recompiler is OFF. If you want to patch fast version, remember to patch Area 2.nml in normal browser! (Normal Area 2.nml is same as fast one.)

Movie Watching online:

That level is pretty cool there. I wonder if that TAS can be improved.

What is the scrolling for, by the way?

That's a neat idea,well done!
It's nice to see you returning here, and I actually saw your Mario's Adventure (SMB3 hack) TAS recently.

Thank you very much!

And I'm hacking Mario Adventure into NSMB during these days. Until now, I've finished world 1 and most levels of world 2. Also, there are 2 different versions. One is normal, another is exploratory. Same levels but different way to find starcoins. (= 6 starcoins in each level) Hope you'll like it~
