Why do that when you know it's explicitly prohibited? If you disagree with that rule, talk to staff, but it's unnecessary do that that kind of thing, you're gonna have to disable it anyway… (unless you're some sort of special user who's allowed to change their username colour).

I'm fairly sure you change your name a little, you just can't change the colour so it's unrecognizable what gender you chose. Like Yami couldn't make her colour dark green, but making the default pink a little brighter and with a small effect should be fine.

My username colour is not modified, it's one of the three normal user colours (N/A). Also, you don't break a rule because someone else did (not saying that's the case here), you tell a moderator about it. However, it seems your case is inexcusable, is it not? However, you haven't been told anything by staff, as far as I know, so…

That should clarify things. By the way, I'm allowed to modify my username field to make it display “Asprök”,  gridatttack gave me permission as long as it doesn't mess up the board or something. Having a username with diereses, acutes and characters of the like messes the board (you can't receive PMs and such), so that's why I had to use that terrible CSS workaround.

Don't be a bootlicker; it is not the female colour (this≠this). Only staff members—with more power than a local mod—have the right to customise their username colours, as established here:
And I reiterate: she's breaking the rules. As I said, I don't know if she's a special user or what, but if she, as a normal user, can change her colour, why would we not be allowed to do the same? If the rule doesn't apply anymore, then the FAQ should be updated.

I won't discuss any further, my point is very clear and I pretty much wouldn't care about username colour changes if it was my board, but um… not my board, not my rules.

You have to modify your mainbar background so it's transparent or whatever. Remember to use text-shadow or change the font colour in that case.
