Hello! I am making this thread to have a place anyone can post MvL hacks without making a new thread each time, so Let's A Go!

The game is very glitchy when running this boss and tends to desync, once the boss key tries to spawn, the game freezes, so I will upload videos of the rest of the BOSSES and see what will happen, so stay tuned. EDIT 1 (9/22/16) ---------------- Did some testing I can confirm that Lakithunder, Montytank, and Bowser (from 1-1), all crash the game in their boss rooms and respectful tile sets/backgrounds, will try to put them in mega gommba's boss room as mega goomba works. Also regarding the Mega Goomba, it doesn't matter who kills the boss on Luigi's screen it says "Luigi Loses", but nothing on Mario's (Due to game freeze(?) - see edit 2 EDIT 2 (9/25/16) ---------------- Skawo was kind enough to answer my request, and he made "No Boss Key" asm hack. Due to this you can now beat the boss without it crashing. But, the catch here is that you can't "officially" beat the boss since there is no key to grab. Also no matter who gets the last hit on luig's screen it says luigi loses, nothing ever shows up on Mario's. Using this ASM hack, you can spawn a clone in MvL! If you change nybble 11, it changes the clone to Mario(0) or Luigi (1) If you change nybble 12, it changes which player controls the clone Player 1 (0) or Player 2 (1) Here's a vid! Bowser in MvL! Yes, it's synchronized. Dorrie waits for whoever rides him first to start swimming, or maybe he only waits for the host player… I don't know. Only

Both players can start Dorrie, but if one player goes but the other doesn't leave the spawn area, then the games desync

Probably hard to find out though, as Dorrie pretty much does his own thing. I have an idea, let's all try and work out multi-cart so we can put it into desmume so we don't have to have 2 DSes and 2 R4s to even test MvL hacks?

Oh, right.
Still, I'd rather just reverse engineer local multiplayer for the DS (Even though I'm nowhere near skilled enough) that wait like 2 minutes to connect the DSes plus about 5 to drag the ROM onto the R4. I'm too impatient. Still, I think it's this that's holding a lot of people back from doing MvL hacking, including me. _________________________ hey look, I did a thing |

Yes, using melonDS's latest versions. You're going to need to either build it yourself or ask someone who already built it to give it to you tho.
