Hi!

Thanks everybody!

I've uploaded a new version. I've tried to correct and follow your suggestions. Those are:
- I've removed some Mario clones, buzzy bettles and such, to avoid lagging. I've tested it in my NDS and DeSMuMe.
- No more coins in a pit.
- I've changed the start of W1-2. Now the items go down.
- Also, the slopes have been corrected.
- The thwomp/fire-flower bridge has been redesigned (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxCw3NkbOSA).
- I've changed some levels time limit. However, I sould find a way to choose time limits. Maybe they will be changed again... Sorry...
I think I have not forgotten anything...

About the "weird Bowser", it is supposed to be weird and unexpected (unless you have read something first ).

About the invisible blocks, the W1-A is based on them. I think is not as hard as it seems (it has simplified in the latest version), however I'd like to know you opinion.

Finally, I have not said anything yet: The levels W2-2, W3-1 and W4-1 cannot be completed. In W2-1, there are two extra doors: one leads to the first half of W8-Final Castle and the second one leads to the Bowser Jr. battle. If you want to test them before those world are completed, you can do it!

And now I am going to update the first post of this thread...

Hello!

First of all, I haven't posted yet since last year, so I'd like to wish everybody a happy new year.

The last weeks, I have been working in World 2. Here there are 15 new screenshots:



Right now, I'm working on W2-4. I have already finished W2-1, W2-2, W2-3, W2-A, W2-Cannon and W2-Castle. If I have enough time, I will upload a new NMP file this month... Cross your fingers :-)

Finally, as I wrote the last year, I'd like to give credit to anyone who wants to be a beta-tester. Right now, I've placed all the users that have posted in this thread (till now) in the "Special Thanks" section. If someone wants to be removed, its nickname changed o placed under the "Beta-Testers" section, please, send me a PM. The "credits" are placed in the Bottom Screen Background Chooser Mushroomhouse, and, right now, they have been translated to English.

I have finished World-2 this week and I am going to update the first post with a new rom and some screenshots. I wanted to finish it before, but I started a (not very original) retro-tileset and it took me more time than planned...:



It's not finished yet. The second pallete is giving me some trouble...

I'm still alive!

Well, it seems I haven't posted anything in a while... Well, this summer I've finished the new World 3 levels, so I'm uploading a new beta here: http://nsmbhd.net/get.php?id=1668. It includes the worlds 1, 2 and 3, and also the unfinished W4-1 and W4-2 levels.

Am I a bit late?

Well, it has been a lot since the last update, but this hack is still (slowly) going on. I have almost finished World 4 (there are only a few minor changes pending... and some bugs, probably).

Anyway, I have uploaded a new version. This one includes Worlds 1 to 4. I have also changed W1-A. The previous version is now the level W4-A and it's been transformed in a special (kind of) Boss Rush stage.

Tip: Remove some of the stuff in the levels. It's realy full. You puts too much tiles and sprites in your levels. It hurts the eyes whe there's too much tuff, also. Free space would be welcome in your hack.

I think that may defeat the point of the levels. You shouldn't criticise his level design without understanding it.

And why shouldn´t he? Of course he can give tips or smth. Why can´t he critice the level design style? Everybody can tell us his opinion but not everyone has to give smth. on it.
