I have created a mountain backdrop that I took out of NSMB2. In fact, I'm like this:



but when importing it into my game it appears like this:



I have tried to use the BackgroundTiler but it gives me the same result if someone knows how I can solve this I would appreciate it.

Your BG uses too many distinct 8x8 tiles. Try to reduce the amount of non tileable things and then be sure that everything that might tile is on the 8x8 grid.

you didn't get the important part. "make everything fit as perfect copies of eachother within 8x8 tiles".

here's an example of what we mean. everything is a accurately tiled copy of something else.



big mountain is a copy of other big mountain.
small mountain is a copy of small mountain.
big cloud is a exact copy of other big clouds.
small cloud is copy of all small clouds.

Thierry I already tested the background and it works correctly but another problem arose with this background:



This background looks good when you import it into the editor but the problem is the animation and I put it in slot 15 of volcanoes and how it has animation looks with errors if you could help me solve it.

I managed to fix the background but I had to erase the clouds above to free 8x8 block space so that was the only solution. ?
