So I was browsing MFGG and found out a shit load of cool tilesets, so this thread is for MFGG tilesets adaptations . Just credit the people behind the original tilesets If you want to credit me, you can, but it's optional.

The thing that sucks with MFGG is that the majority of the custom tilesets are 16-bit, SMBX style tiles and very few of them fit with NSMB, or any "2.5D" game.

Yeah, it looks really strange with the background and the 3D models. Would be AWESOME for SMW hacks though.

Honestly I don't like those. This applies to Nintendo's graphics from All-Stars too but the colors are really bland.
Also the grassland tileset... The grass is too small and thin, the dirt pattern tiles horribly and makes a grid pattern for no apparent reason, it uses way too many colors for shading (this applies to 16-bit stuff, not NSMB style stuff). Sorry for the brutal honesty ahah. |
