Hello. A quick question, how do you make a custom world map. Not paths or anything, the,I guess you could say, the terrain itself(?).
Thanks in Advance ~Ndymario _________________________ Here's my MvL Hacking thread Consider joining the NSMB DS Hacking Discord Server! #HakingNoMore |

Posted by TruelyJohn64 Actually, you can get a 3 years free trial for both of them if you're studying 3D modeling All you need to do is add some student informations to your account... |

Export the model to .obj and then convert that .obj to .nsbmd with MKDS Course Modifier. Import that .nsbmd into NSMB by replacing the correct file. (map->w1.nsbmd) I've tried this, and nothing appears. It's just a black background (with the nodes, castles etc. of course). I think it may have something to do with me not texturing it but I tried to add some solid colour textures and it came up with some error _________________________ hey look, I did a thing |

Yep, lack of textures does make the model invisible. Make sure that all textures have a resolution that is a multiple of 8. That's probably why you were getting an error with the solid colors. Also, you'll require a lot of trial and error when it comes to scaling and positioning. How do you edit the existing model? I can't find any OBJ importers for sketchup that aren't free. And people apparently aren't interested enough in them to
Edit: Now "the given path's format is not supported" when I try to create an NSMBD Edit 2: AND THAT ONLY HAPPENS WITH THAT 1 FILE GOD DAMN IT _________________________ hey look, I did a thing |

Closest thing I could find was ray's MKDS tutorial. Thanks for the help though. _________________________ hey look, I did a thing |
