r169: fixed a problem with the sprite list I created in my last revision.

The cloning works just fine for me, I don't know why you guys are having problems with it.

What happens is when you control+left click, the object gets stuck over the original. You have to let go of the mouse button, go back to it, and drag again. So if you aren't paying close enough attention, it can get lost on top of the original.

This happens in windowed screen also. I always use the window screen, never full.

Try an older version like 155 for example. Try the control left click copy method. You will see the difference. It slow editing down substantially.

Is there a plan to support a Japanese version of "NSMB DS Editor"?

Same as the french version. If we find a translator that wants to translate everything, then yes.
In Japanese we'd have also to figure out how to manipulate japanese text in the windows, but that's probably easy.

Is it a Japanese version of the tool?

sorry, My wanting to say is this.
"Is NSMB DS Editor scheduled to be able to be read with ROM of a Japanese version as well as NSMB PC Editor?"

Yeah, I'll do it when I get back to developing NSMBeDS.
It's not hard, it's simply that I've not done it yet.

Hmm, you mean to sound editing?
Well, it could be, but for now we only have external tools to hack the sound in NSMB...

Cool

Just one thing, it looks like you accidentally committed the file "NSMBe4.suo". Don't commit it, it will make conflicts when other people update, because that file is not part of the project itself, but some random crap Visual Studio is always modifying. Could you delete it? Thanks

Cool
Will probably help new users a lot. I've changed the tutorial thread to link to the wiki page, since it's better explained there.

Though, I'd like to keep most of the tutorials and howto's about the editor in this forum, and not in the wiki. That thing is OK, since it's more related to compiling than actual NSMB hacking.

Revision 178 is out!

Added the RSA signature for download play as a file so it doesn't get
overwritten. See http://nsmbhd.net/thread.php?id=185 for more details.

It still doesn't fix download play.

- Added a new fancy object picker. Try it out and lemme know what you think
- Fixed the weird behavior on object clone and copy.

Cool
BTW, I see you're deleting the old builds. Could you mark them as "deprecated" instead? That way they won't show in the downloads listing, but if someone wants them, they can be still downloaded.
