No reason to the title. Just....404.
It will not have any texture hacks or title screen hacks.

The levels will follow the themes set out already for the most part. They will all be different though.
They will also be short levels. Might do a few really long ones, but the reason why I never finish hacks is because I over-complicate the levels. So if I keep them short and sweet, this will actually see a release =)

Those pictures look better than any part of my contest hack IMO.

Can't wait for a patch to be released. I think it will be an awesome hack.

I've noticed hacks without graphics hacks are more... ...refreshing. It kinda gives it the feel of a "level expansion pack", so it feels more Nintendo-styled. So i think from the two screenshots this is looking pretty good.

Hmm I kind of get your point there. All those hacks with lots of graphical hacks like Super Metroid Bros seem like "not a Nintendo Mario game." Some hacks like New Super Hacker Bros seem like an extension to other games, in this case New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Figured I should release a quick patch for you guys. This contains the first three levels (1-1, 1-2, 1-3). If there are any glitches, please let me know. I already know that some SFX are missing in 1-3.

The sound effects in 1-2 for the buzzy beetles and amps are missing too.

and in 1-1 you can get the first star coin just by jumping (you don't need to go to the bonus room)

I think the levels are too short.

And they are not placed out very well.

But its a good hack idea.

Thanks for the feedback. I fixed that Star Coin issue in 1-1.
I'm unsure on making the levels longer. I wanted them to be short so that I could easily work on the hack.

I understand why you want them to be short but I think they should not be this short.
