Dirbaio and I decided it would be a good idea to have a thread containing the changelog for the board software so everyone can know when something new is added to the board.
So here's one change:

- Improved browser detection; added detection of Opera Mobile, DWB, 0Android phones/tablets, S60 phones, Ubuntu and FreeBSD. Also pointlessly added detection of X11.
Edit: Changed "Linux" to "GNU/Linux"

This is great function. It must be useful. And adding changelog for editor development would be cool too.

This forum is primarily intended for threads/posts about the board software itself.
If there was to be an editor changelog, it should probably go in the editor development thread instead of here.

A feature that has been lacking since ages, has finally been implemented. Now when editing posts, the board keeps track of who edited the post and when. It is also displayed in the post's topbar.

However, posts that have been edited before don't have the data, so there's no way to tell who edited them. We could use the log to try and fill the blanks, but it would only work for the last month's posts, as log entries older than one month get deleted.

Edit- the postfixxor has been coded and run on the board. Posts more recent than one month should now have the right revision info on their topbars. If you see anything wrong, tell us.

Just put in place a bunch of redirects in nginx config that fix the old links to redirect them to the new ones. So thread, post, etc, links should always work.

I also redirected www.nsmbhd.net and board.dirbaio.net to nsmbhd.net

I coded a new method of parsing [code] and [source] tags. You can now nest [code] inside [source] and vice-versa and it'll parse right. However, [code] into [code] and [source] into [source] won't come out right. The software can't know which closing tag matches the opening tag, so it takes the first closing tag, which is right in 90% of cases.

I also tweaked [code] parsing a bit, now it shouldn't eat backslashes anymore.

Just improved a bit the Mono Green theme. It has FINALLY a good-looking monospace font

Though it's maybe too small? Not sure what to do. It doesn't look as good if I make it bigger.

Yep, it's too small. With a font scale of 80, that is. Setting it to 100 makes the text big enough, and it still looks good imo.

GlitchMr just ported ABXD to use mysqli, so I switched NSMBHD to the mysqli branch so we can have it tested!
Let me know if anything's broken.

It's basically the "New" mysql extension for PHP. It has some new cool features that I still don't know...
The old one is considered to be deprecated.

Just merged the newbbcode branch into master.

Basically, the board has now a new BBCode parsing system that should be way better than the old one.
Nothing should break from the change, so if you see something that's broken that wasn't before, just tell me

Yea just saw.
Going to rollback the changes, I'll fix this tomorrow

EDIT: Done, the board's back to the state before the merge
>.<

EDIT 2: Now the new changes are back, but fixed. Everything should work right.
HTML Entities are now not parsed, so layouts that were using them will break. For example Nina's ...

Just updated the layout maker!
Now all layouts style the whole post table, instead of the post text only, which looks much cooler!

And I also added a new layout type...

It may also end up much worse. Giving the layout maker to noobs would be like giving a nuke to Hitler.

Let's say that the Uploader bug is finally fixed. Now, you can upload files above 0 bytes.
