I managed to create a custom worldmap with custom paths and I am going to (as the title says) release a tutorial soon.
I created the Map using the Maya 2011 Plugins, but I will also try to make one with the Blender Plugins.

Here are some pictures (sorry for the bad quality).

And here is a video.

The World Map is still unfinished and has a few bugs, which I will fix later.

I already did a brief explanation on the NSMB hacking discord server, so if you want to get started already then join here: https://discord.gg/RQuN4Vz8

You can also dm me on discord Sombo#8878

EDIT: The World Map is finished now and I fixed every bug except the one on the bottom screen map.
Here is the video.

Yes, that i said it, but editing the routes on the lower screen will be a problem.

That would be probably just graphics editing but it's pixel by pixel.

pixel by pixel editing has nothing to do with it, maybe Goombatlas is good for this, the routes are a lot of lines

There is no problem, only that it is difficult to understand, if you look at 1-1 it is normal, and the mushroom is at 1-5 something that is strange, a tutorial like this can be very useful to make the map aswe want

I haven't figured out the bottom screen map yet. I think it has to do with tilemap tile selection but I can't be assed to figure it out and will probably just remove it altogether for my hack.

wait, you still work in star collect, that's interesting, but mariofanatic64 discovered it for endless earth, you just have to investigate and play with those things, although one thing wrongly placed and your map will be like a lot of shit

I would say that whoever investigated it always has a backup of their hack or you are lost

No he didn't. Endless Earth has no bottom screen world maps, and its world maps also aren't very customized.

I already noticed it, but how did he do to do something like that, there must be a width in the texture that of a considerable size to be able to edit, no, also the 3D routes of the map in the top screen are a bit screwed up,I don't know if it was mariofanatic64 or that something went wrong, but in this tutorial it seems that it went well

I don't understand your question. MarioFanatic's world map edits were pretty basic. Don't even need Goombatlas for it, could just use the older worldmap editor.

Well I wanted to say that how he did to edit the lower map, I mean, he made 2 frames, I do not have screenshots to point out exactly what I want to refer to but I can say a reference point, as it did toerase the map or part of it to be more specific

Erasing the bottom screen map is very easy. You just have to remove it from its NSC file.
