I'm pretty new to New Super Mario Bros hacking so there might be something I'm forgetting to do but whenever I load load a level with a custom background it just gives me a black screen.

also you can try to get a new rom or edit your emulation settings.

Did you get a warning while importing your background? Like wrong file size?

When you imported the background did you click 'Import' or 'Import PNG'? The former is for .nmb files that have already been converted, the latter is for .png files to be converted. New Super Mario Bros.: Clone Tag Team 1+2 / New Super Mario Advance + Take 2 / Super Mario: Endless Earth My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. |
