My New mini hack i'll be working on, things going good so far.

Why not? I think that longer hacks always are better as long as the quality doesn't go down because of it.

I like your KISS style. Old school, with simple elements. And uses the original tileset, good for compatibility.. Try make simple and short levels with low time. You can be surprise with final result. Keep going and perhaps we can see born a full hack with 8 complete worlds in this thread.
