This is the most fitting scenario (background/tileset combination) I've see for an underwater castle yet. Just the solid-on-top ledge looks very bright in that but the rest is top notch.

This is the overworld for the entire game. Every mission is set in this overworld but the objective is to go to different areas and find the fortresses.

Everything's there from Mission 1, but there's a different Fortress to head toward/look for. Whats this area? A space city maybe? Bonus area like world 9? It looks really interesting whatever it is.
 Kinda odd for a grassland to be in the middle of all this, don't ya think?   Does this game have a complex story or is it just a simple, fun, open world Mario game? |
