you have to extract the nsmb icon with ds icon editor [because i have to find the right palette from the ds game icon] its bmp format file but if you do to make the ds icon with paint its gonna be not so-good looking, so you have to extract the ds game icon with ds icon editor and right palette for your icon, i think your icon its not 16bit image so you cant replace the icon if you make it with paint it will be just 16bit colors from the paint that's why you have to extract ds game icon with the palette that you think its same with the color do you have right now you draw with paint and if you already replace the icon you draw to the extracted ds game icon and you can edit it with paint and save it without changed the pictures to another format, too much that i have to say here lol

... You don't need to open any palette with banner.bin. Just click the checkbox "View in 4bp format." (Was it 4bp format?)

You could make it foggy if you can. Blizzards make it hard to see. Fog effects from Ghost houses? Are you going to make it snowing on the over world? Ignore this post if all of them were answered. thank you, that gives power to keep working on this project yes i wil try to make it snowy on the overworld but since w 1 overworld has no effects in it like in w 5 the only answer how to make it its ASM. about the fog effect i am not sure about it, i was planning to make it like a yoshi`s island dark cave fg.
