Editing jyotyu sucks like hell, but unfortunately
Doing pretty much anything in new super Mario bros Or any Nintendo game Takes long af and sometimes looks like shit, so it ends up having to be redone. Why, Nintendo, must all your games be so complex? Oh yeah, they hate their rom hacking fans, that’s why, because money. This text is centered! Lol, relax dude, I understand perfectly your frustration, I also hate when NSMBe f*cks up everything, let me tryna find a solution, and if I can't find it, I guess we'll have to decide between MeroMero's or Rph's Jyotyu  I think I can make the custom palettes, but it's gonna take a while and it'll be waaaayyyy tedious Edit: I'm sorry guys, I spent the last hours trying to make the Jyotyu to work but I've failed miserably, editing the Jyotyu files are not as easy as I expected, dang it Also, I won't be posting for a while due to the problem that I mentioned before and because I'm going to visit my aunt's house in another state tomorrow and there's no internet connection , but I can't still talk on the Discord server. I'd really have liked to make more Tilesets and BG's but I've been a bit demotivated last days

have you seen this thread about adding tiles to the jyotyu tileset? its an longish process but it should work consistently. tho if youre using meromeros nsmbwii jyotyu you might have to tweak some of the steps

It’s the same for me when I go see my great grandmother, she has no WiFi either (and thinks the news people watch her through the tv) If you aren’t able to make custom palettes, then we go with meromeros one, and implement rphs changes in one of the tileset, or scattered across musltiple I guess you could check out what keeper linked to Seems interesting, and probably will help This text is centered! The game is like that not to make it harder for modders but because of the graphics limitations of the DS.
There is a trick to edit Jyotyu which I think involves exporting ALL of the palettes at once, and delete the colors that look wrong in the giant image file that NSMB Editor exports, then you edit it and import it back. _________________________ NSMB Hacking Discord |

looks like its tiled wrong. if you put a full brick there instead if two half bricks itd probs look better
