Does anybody know where these files are? Specifically: "World 1" text on world map, blue streak behind lives on world map, and the item circle while in a level. I tried finding these but to no avail.

Palettes:
d_2d_UI_O_1P_game_in_b_d.ncl.bin (Item indicator)
d_2d_UI_O_1P_course_in_demo_o_u_ncl.bin (World and live indicator)

Textures:
d_2d_UI_O_1P_game_in_b_d.ncg.bin (Item indicator)
UI_O_1P_course_in_demo_o_u_ncg.bin (World and live indicator)

They're all in the uiStudio folder.

I checked both of the files, and there appears to be no sign of the item indicator. Is it hidden somewhere? Also, the second file appears to be what appears when entering a level, not what appears on the bottom screen.

yeah, that was the wrong file. the right files for the item storage are UI_O_1P_game_in_d_ncg.bin and UI_O_1P_game_in_o_ud_ncl.bin, both in uiStudio. also make sure you check the "16 color" box before clicking "add all" when opening the ncl.

Okay, new we have to find the bottom screen world map UI. From what I've searched, it doesn't seem to be in any of the "course_select" files, which is where world map UI is usually located. Also, quick question: does anybody know where the files are for the little yellow dots that appear on the bottom screen when there's a Red ? Block or a Hammer Bro on the world map?

EDIT: I don't know why, but the Boos that appear on the bottom screen of Ghost Houses are broken. Their arms still move and stuff, but the rest is jumbled up tiles. I barely edited the file the Boos are in, only with minor colour changes with colours that are already in the palette. It seems as though the tiling screwed up instead of the palette, though, so I don't know.

the bottom screen worldmap ui is in whatever file has the bncd extension in UI_studio (There's only one, you can't miss it). it doesn't look editable but double click on it and a window will pop up just like with an ncg. the palette should be the file right under it.
as for the ghost house boo issue, sounds like you messed the nsc up (d_2d_UI_O_1P_coursemap_obake_nsc.bin in ui_studio). make sure it's not lz decompressed (if it is, the file will be 2048 bytes. it needs to be lz compressed), and if it isn't, extract the file from a clean rom and replace the broken one.

Does anybody know where this file is? It fades in at the end of the title screen cutscene, and isn't related at all to the normal logo file. (The palette may be different, as I changed the logo)
