The purpose of creating this thread was to spark discussions about the newly released game on the Nintendo Switch. Here you can post your thoughts about the game, failures because you tried to be slick, really cool tricks/successes because being slick actually worked, glitches or shortcuts (intended or unintended, like using cappy jump dives to skip a platforming section was probably intentional depending on where you are), 1337 koopa freerunning strats/routes, good, nice, neat, funny, or retarded photos, or doing sequence breaks. Anything like that and more are all welcome. Also spoilers obviously.

I'm... disappointed in the soundtrack. I was really hoping for something like SMG, but Nintendo didn't pull through on this one IMO.

Saying the soundtrack is bad is not equal to hating one soundtrack.

I don't like the soundtrack as well. Compare it with Galaxyor 3dw: There you have so many memorable tracks. Odyssey has only few tracks with only very few catchy ones. Esp I was disappointed by the beach one. Remember the 3dw one? Yeah. Odyssey's is crap compared with that one.

So indeed, Odyssey's soundtrack was bad imo.

Exactly. There were SOME okay ones, ex. Colossal Falls and Cafe, but I just didn't enjoy the music that much.

I kinda feel the same way, Galaxy and 3D World had so many memorable songs:

Galaxy : Gusty Garden, Good Egg, Honey Hive, Buoy Base, Purple Comet, Observatory, etc...
3D World : Super Bell Hill, Bullet Bill Express, Beep Block, Shifty Boo Mansion, etc...

Odyssey is good but not great, it really doesn't feel as grand as Mario Galaxy or 3D World did but I do feel the best ones are:

The Cascade Kingdom, Luncheon, New Donk City, Jump Up Superstar, Honeylune escape, and Run Jump Throw 1.

but, if I had to say my favorite from the SMO soundtrack, it would be "NDC: Cafe" It's just so... warm and good.

and its Super Mario World.

I though Lost Kingdom's soundtrack was pretty good (especially the 8-bit version), I thought the Wooded Kingdom was catchy, Fossil Falls was pretty good, Lake Kingdom fit the theme very well, Metro Kingdom was the hands down best soundtrack in the entire game (very catchy too). I also liked the "Above the Clouds" tune and the RC Car racing theme.

My bad I don't have Super Mario Odyssey
