We all know that this hack will be amazing. There is so much hype on this that there is no doubt that there must be a lot of pressure. The point is, although there are so many people anticipating the release, it shouldn't mean that you should try to rush. Almost all of us know that this hack is better than anything Nintendo can produce, and they have whole teams of people working on their games. I know that if I had been with this project since the beginning, I still wouldn't mind that it hadn't been released.
Take a break if you feel like it and find a way to relax. No one should be rushing you. |

I hope you don't really think this is better than anything Nintendo can produce. This hack is one of the best out there but just look at odyssey. This can't rivalise with Nintendo and shouldn't try to, no offence intended to Mariofanatic64.

You are correct. Odyssey will be very good, but as I don't have a switch, SMEE will likely be in my top 10 games list for 2017.

And don't forget that Nintendo created the NSMB engine. I doubt many users on here would be able to create a game like NSMB.

Well, duh. Nintendo is a company specialized in making games.
Whereas we hack games as a hobby. IMO since you'e got the overworld done, you needn't rush the remaining fortresses. |

I'm very excited for this hack. Very ambitious and different, but it looks so fun. More than anything, it just seems like a fun hack to turn on and play.
Wandering around the various themed worlds is exactly what I look for in a Mario hack. Just keep Clone Marios out of this game. Those are way too hard to control. :p |

Fortresses 1, 2 and 3 are fully complete. Fortress 4 is half-finished. Fortress 5 is fully finished but untested. 6, 7 and 8 remain. After this, aside from testing, I also have to make the end cutscene, which was scripted almost two years ago.
