Here's something you didn't know about: For the last month and a half, the project has been on a small hiatus. There's a common trend I have found in NSMB hacks I call "World 2 Syndrome". It consists of the time where a hack is between 1 and 2 worlds completed, and is the most common time where the creator weighs up the amount of time and effort it takes to make a hack. It is usually around this time where a hack gets abandoned. I know this, as I have suffered from World 2 Syndrome twice. From my observations, many people here have had it too, many hacks here get abandoned after only 1 or 2 worlds complete, and progress always slows down, abandoned or not. And now I have experienced World 2 Syndrome for a third time. For a number of weeks, I have grown concerned about whether I'll have the strength to get through Clone Tag Team 2, and after due consideration, I have made my decision. MF64, here's a tip: DO NOT END THE LEVEL WITH 2 MARIO'S! This can cause glitches. Like the 'Time's up!' text after the 'Mario clear!'

Potentially Bad News Coming. I seem to have misplaced my USB drive containing the only Clone Tag Team 2 Master ROM, as well as a LOT of progress that I have made. Unless I can find the drive by some sort of miracle, I'll have to start from the second beta again. This may not sound like much (2 1/2 levels), but I have made a LOT of progress with tilesets and backgrounds, as well as the bugfixes from beta 2. So unless I can find the drive soon, Clone Tag Team 2 has been delayed until 2014. Yeah it sucks. I recommend dropbox with the auto-updater app.
No losses and on any PC. NSMB rom is actually quite small, does not take long to upload or download. |

Excellent news, ladies and gentlemen. You'll be pleased to know that I have recovered the USB drive containing the Clone Tag Team 2 master ROM. (Though I have no idea how it just "spawned" on my bed after two days.) But that isn't the good part- this is. The hack has had amazing progress. In the last few days I have finished three levels, bringing the hack up to 25% completed. So I thought I would give you some new screenshots as an E3 gift. To be honest, I like the normal bosses more than this. This is just ... I dunno. The real bosses are better IMO
