If the image fails to upload (due to crap internet here) it says nothing and still gives me the URL

Looking awesome so far
Will you add some of the grassland tileset too?

Dirbaio this is a good tileset you made there... Looking good so far.
<Silvreus>It has been 1 month, 4 days, 2 hours, 21 minutes and 3 seconds since I last remember being lazy.

Full tileset coming tomorrow
I'm tired as fuck and making all these tiles will be slow as shit...

Also if you want to suggest what else to put in it, now is the moment.

That looks really good! If you're up for it, you could add some slopes so everything isn't made out of squares. Also some thin pillars that are 1 tile wide could be useful.

Looks awesome! Also yay for 4 palette tilesets
I can imagine making levels with it.

Also, i suggest you use the normal grass on the green one. It will look better, and could be used for other things. Like an underwater ruin

any chance for a blue ruin palette?

I suggest making one palette "night". I really would like to make a night level.

EDIT:

With lowered Contras and horizontal "things". It looks better now, but still I'd prefer to remake the whole tileset.
This was just testing crap.

Looking awesome. But I wonder what world will use the tileset? Or could it be in any one?

I don't know. We could make a ruins themed world. Or we could just put some ruins levels here and there.

A ruin world can get boring, with just one tileset. We'd need more variations of it if we want to have a ruins world. Underground ruins? Underwater ruins? Hmmm....

No. A ruin level here and there would be fine (one for each world; at least in 1 area). I don't know about a ruin world...

Well, how about a partial ruin world theme? The theme would be in the sky, with clouds and stuff. And the world will be designed by first starting in the ground, in the middle level of the world beginning to climb up, and the last levels, the ruins in the sky? You know, mystic ruins in the sky and all that

Not just use the ruin tileset. We could use other tilesets too.

Hm sounds nice, too. Also reminds me of Underwater ruins I made in NSHB... (never released since a Tileset update corrupted everything in the level lol)

Yeah, the underwater ruins sounds nice too.
Using for the most part the ruin tileset in the world, since I think the ruins tileset fits in almost every occasion, (underground level, snow level, lava level, jungle level...)

For underwater ruins there should be some wooden tiles I used it in NSHB as a dsetroyed mine with a sunken ship and some places where you had to destroy walls with bob ombs (while swimming). I'll implement it in ASMB again

It is too limiting/boring to use it a lot,
so the choice is:

*Use it it for one level (Maybe like 7-A, or as a castle)

*Use it mixed with other themes (like a jungle/sky/ect with ruin levels)

I think we will do the second option; 1 level or 2 in certain worlds.Or more prominent somewhere in the clouds world (if there will be one).

I think it is best to decide at the time of making levels if it seems right.

I have to mention that there is another SMB3 Hilly Tileset update.

The last version had an issue with the slope edges. I didn't think there was a behavior that was a wall with the special behavior that the block needed in order for mario to properly walk into the slopes. I then remembered there was the sewer tileset which had such object behaviour. So now (hopefully) there is no more object related issues in the tileset
