Totally looks like they're reusing the NSMB/NSMBW engine, again.
lol ![]() If editing 3DS roms becomes possible, it'll probably be easy to make a level editor, because the level format will be similar. This is what happened when NSMBW came out. About the Mega-Mario powerup... In NSMB it looks like a freakin useless powerup, it's there just to give kids the fun of destroying stuff. In many levels you can't use it at all beacause you don't fit onscreen. Let's hope it'll have more uses this time... |

It is not for the fun of destroying stuff really - it is like the starman it is to make hard sections easier. But only if you have it/find it |

In some videos you can already see new tilesets. I think they just used them as a base so they can edit the graphics later easily.

Anyone noticed how similar the World 1 Map layout looks to that of the original NSMB?
New Super Mario Bros.: Clone Tag Team 1+2 / New Super Mario Advance + Take 2 / Super Mario: Endless Earth My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart. |

* LeWario raises his hand. Well, at least that part of the overworld. But considering how unoriginal this game is to begin with, I bet it will be very similar throughout the whole map.

Posted by MARIOFANATIC64 Anyone noticed how similar the World 1 Map layout looks to that of the original NSMB? Yep. I noticed too. The part from peach castle looks identical... I hope NSMBWU isnt like this... Also, here is the white raccon mario, to help players in a level if you fail 5 times. Looks awesome, but even if I failed much(which I doubt it'll happen), as tempting as it is ,I don't want to lose the star rating for using it once. _________________________ |

Same here, I restarted my SM3DL save file after the White Tanooki Leaf appeared just once. What a black mark it leaves, even if you don't use it, once it's there, it's there.

It tooootally looks like NSMBW, but on a handheld
![]() THis and NSMBU are just more of the same. Dunno. Maybe they need more innovation in their mario games. Games like Mario Galaxy, these were a true innovation ![]() But yea, NSMBW was just an improved NSMB, so it's pretty expectable that this is going to be an improved NSMBW. |
