Why is it a BPS patch? If you're posting your hack for people to play it, you should post it as an xdelta patch, this tutorial explains how to make one.
In addition to that, when creating a new thread in the New hacks subforum, you should give a detailed explanation/overview of the hack and include some screenshots and/or videos if possible instead of just saying "this is my hack, play it". _________________________  .png) My YouTube Channel  NSMB Central Discord Server

i know how to create a xdelta game patch or else i would not know how to mod its because i'm making the game in a vm and my host is very low-end and thats where my delta patcher which creates patches is and i didn't want to open it right then because it takes forever to open it and besides you can still play it just go to https://www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/ and by the way did you download and play it and do you know whats wrong with the screen Thats why its a bps file when i'm really done i'll post as a xdelta patch ok and i will upload some pics but on my side the pics just show a tiny pic of a terrd up piece of paper and i'm not even done mr ztardust and its not done i want you to play it and tell me if the screen issue is just the old Collision Data or if its something else please you don't know how much i need this thank you. oh by the way heres the logo if it shows up

Hey mister ztardust i have photo'shttps://nsmbhd.net/img/smilies/lol.png and i remade it so it does not do that with the screen i will upload it when i'm done with W1 Though
 This is the logo for the game     And release pics so there mrztardust and anyone can post back tell if ya like it ok it brings back the original goal pole adds a new soundtrack and more: the download link is no longer available till i'm done so i will give you updates and more about it in later posts ok

Here are some tips:
- I recommend only posting a hack thread if you have a w1+ demo ready - If you want to take screenshots, use the desmume emulator https://www.desmume.com/, open your rom, then there should be a hotkey/button to take screenshots. I think there are some tutorials on how to use desmume. - To upload screenshots follow this https://nsmbhd.net/thread/3413-how-to-get-post-screenshots/ - You can edit posts if you look closely - Maybe add a description of what your mod is about or what it is EDIT: you know this already. _________________________ lol like there have barely been any posts or new threads. I can tell you're having fun with the editor, but keep in mind there's a difference between:
The former is simple enough- just do whatever you want. You can make every level a playground with no rhyme or reason, and just test out all that the game has to offer. It's fun, but the results aren't something you can proudly share because it's basically a kid's sandbox. The latter is more complicated, because you have to make a quality hack, one worth people's while to play. You have to follow good design practices, and tile all of your levels properly. This takes effort and research. It's worth mentioning that "Level Designer" IS a fully fledged job that people are paid to do, which generally requires higher education to be proficient at it. All that to say, it’s not a skill everyone is born with. I'd advise you work on your hack's quality a little harder before publishing any more content, or else you will keep getting the same harsh feedback. |

Hmm... Looks better but the sunset bg dosen't look correct. You should now edit the first post to show your screenshots there.

i mean the sunset bg dosen't seem to have correctly imported. The top of the hills seem to not be connected to the rest of the hills. Also, in that 2nd screenshot, i see wrong use of tilesets. you can get free custom tilesets here https://nsmbhd.net/thread/1685-rips-from-newer-nsmb-titles/

the bg prolly imported fine, but its probably in a slot with parallax scrolling. using a slot that doesnt have any parallax would prolly fix it
