Is there a way i can use my image of a tilemap (eg. png or jpg) and get it in the editors tilemap ?
Ideally merge it with a pre-existing tilemap so the blank/unused/unwanted tiles from the vanilla tilemap get replaced by my new custom ones. Thanks |

Yes, 100%!
Depends on what you’re working with though. Can you send an image of what you’re trying to import? Simply use the uploader and paste the link to the image in your message, then highlight the link and tap the little icon with the mountain and the sun on and it should embed your image in the message, so there isn’t any confusion with that part ![]() _________________________ ![]() Hacks Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqA5CgsW-CTfD56DCa2kvYw/channels |

Alright so open any tile set you're hoping to work on.
You should go over to the Graphics tab Export the graphics with the current palette Then open your image and the graphics you just exported in any image editor. Now take you're tilemap and move it into the other tileset. Make sure you keep the tileset at its current image size, or it will not work! If you're just attempting to just change some parts of the tileset, you can move your tilemap over the originals. Now the final step is to import it in NSMBe Click back to the graphic area and select a palette. Now hit Import and recreate palette and select your image. Then it should be in the game! The next step would be to edit the Map 16 if you changed the organization of the tileset, and I can help you out with that if you need. Feel free to ask any mroe questions ![]() |
