I've seen it work before, but it won't work for me. I can have 2 instances of my hack running on Melon DS, and they do find each other, however when it tries to load MvsL, the connection terminates. I have the "Bind into socket" box checked. What's the issue? Needing to test MvsL stages

This happens when MelonDS can't keep a high enough framerate. You need a better GPU if you want to run MvsL iirc.

No. MelonDS mainly needs a fast CPU. The opengl renderer doesn't tax the hardware much. You can try the wip JIT builds as those are quite a bit faster.

Be sure that there is no crappy anti virus running on your pc. melonDS communicates over pots.

Edit: Also RAM amount doesn't affect performance. CPU is key for the melon.

All I have is Avast. Avast is known for being a little overprotective but it's nice to have. It thinks Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is a virus when it isn't, it's just an innocent game
